Industrial Design Intern

As an industrial design intern at Viking Range, the luxury kitchen-appliance maker, I applied consumer-focused design to premium product development and coordinated with R&D and supply-chain teams from concept through production. My main projects were wine-rack and wine-refrigerator concepts, carried from sketches and color & material studies through CAD, renders, and physical prototypes shown in the kitchen. I also worked on CMF (color, material, and finish) for a new premium line that launched about a year after my internship ended, and helped redesign the cross-functional process flowchart that maps how the engineering and design teams work together during the concept phase.
